About the Role

We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of several leading energy providers, including some of the biggest names in the industry. We have an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking for a role that offers a genuine flexible working approach.

As one of our engineers, you will be primarily responsible for responding to emergency and maintenance jobs. You may also be required to complete the safe installation and removal of smart meters (SMETS2) in domestic properties when needed. We strive to provide excellent customer service to our customers, ensuring that all jobs are completed timely and that the customers are well informed on the benefits and safe usage of their smart meter.

The Package

We offer a competitive package that includes:

  • A basic salary of £36,900 per annum
  • A realistic OTE of up to £48,000 per annum
  • A £1,000 Safety Bonus per year
  • A £1,000 Attendance Bonus per year
  • An uncapped additional bonus
  • An Additional Skill Set Bonus of £1,000 added to salary for 3-phase, Medium Pressure
  • A £200 per month flexible working scheme payment
  • Regular overtime paid at time and a half, and double time on Sundays
  • Shift allowance payments
  • 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
  • Additional year annual leave entitlement for 3rd/4th & 5th year, capped at 25 days

What You'll Need to Be Successful

We promise to deliver the best service to our customers, and to achieve this, we strive for our skilled engineers to be passionate and take a real pride in what they do. You will also:

  • Hold current CCN1/CMA1 & MET1 qualification or an equivalent aligned qualification (within 6 months of expiry)
  • Have previous MOCOPA experience to multi-rate level (3-phase is beneficial)
  • Ideally have been registered on the EUSR portal (not essential)
  • Hold a current full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Have previous practical experience in a dual fuel role
  • Have a minimum of 6 months on-the-job experience
  • Be flexible to work varying shifts
  • Have experience of operating mobile IT hardware
