Key Responsibilities:

  • Fund Formation and Management: Lead the formation process for private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, and credit funds, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Document Drafting and Negotiation: Draft and negotiate key fund documents, including limited partnership agreements, PPM's, and subscription documents, with a focus on clarity and precision.
  • Regulatory Advice: Provide expert advice on regulatory matters, such as AIFMD and financial promotions, to ensure our clients' compliance with industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Mentor junior associates and contribute to the team's business development efforts, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients, handling complex transactions with ease and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in funds (Common law candidates are also welcomed)
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating essential fund documents and managing closed-ended fund formations
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, relevant regulations, and financial laws
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to business development
  • Strong academic background and a knack for problem-solving
