We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to lead our mitigation department and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of credit hire handlers, ensuring the effective settlement of credit hire claims, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of indemnity, liability, and credit hire.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of credit hire handlers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to SLAs.
- Undertake handler audits to identify trends, training needs, and areas for improvement, driving integral data within the claim file.
- Act as a key link between the mitigation department and the wider business, promoting mitigation awareness and best practices.
- Impart technical knowledge to the team through mentoring and coaching, ensuring a thorough understanding of indemnity, liability, and credit hire.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new claims management process improvements and assist with training design and delivery.
- Experience in motor claims, with a proven track record of managing credit hire claims.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to positively influence team members.
- Excellent communication and technical skills, with a thorough understanding of indemnity, liability, and credit hire.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, with a mix of office and remote work.
