Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Parcel Delivery Driver to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of parcels to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver parcels to customers across the assigned area, using route-planning technology tools to optimize delivery routes and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prep your van and workload for the day, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are available.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work independently, using your own initiative to manage your workload and prioritize tasks.
  • Meet or exceed delivery targets, ensuring that all parcels are delivered on time and in good condition.

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 25kg.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
