- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the logistics and transport teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery of our services.
- Manage third-party health and safety providers to ensure compliance with our standards and procedures.
- Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
- Evaluate facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
- Investigate accidents or incidents to discover direct causes and recommend solutions.
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager.
- Experience in the health and safety side of Logistics and Transport as well as understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
- Hold a NEBOSH certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Have in-depth understanding of UK H&S legislation and its practical application in social housing refurbishment projects or similar.
- Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies.
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
