Job Summary
Allegis Global Solutions is seeking a highly skilled System Integration Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all aspects of infrastructure, project engineering, and live on-air events for our client, Warner Bros Discovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Align technology roadmaps with different business units and technology teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete requests in a timely manner, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time effectively.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and operators in a collaborative, team-oriented environment to coordinate regular maintenance, necessary upgrades, and address critical problems through to resolution.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of video and audio signals and standards, including HDR standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in broadcast video over IP protocols and associated standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members, ensuring the highest level of technical expertise and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in the TV and Media industry.
- Strong understanding of broadcast video over IP protocols and associated standards, including TS over IP, 2110, and Seamless switching.
- Basic understanding of AWS architectures and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to author technical drawings and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a high-pressure environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of HDR standards, including HDR, HLG, and other related technologies.
- Experience with technical drawing and documentation, with the ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
