The Teaching Personnel team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Worker to join our team at a primary SEN school in the Haywards Heath area. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting primary-aged pupils with their academic and physical education needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small group support to primary-aged pupils with SEN
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress and behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans

About the School:

The primary SEN provision is a dynamic and inclusive environment that caters to the unique needs of each pupil. With a strong focus on academic and personal growth, the school provides a supportive and stimulating atmosphere for pupils to thrive.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • DBS clearance (Child Only)

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay rate: £420 - £450 per week
  • Temporary to permanent contract
  • Monday to Friday, 8:40am - 3:55pm
