Alliance Personnel is seeking a skilled MIG welder to fill a key role in one of their clients' operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using MIG welding equipment. Key responsibilities include operating MIG welding equipment to weld and assemble metal components, reading and interpreting engineering drawings to fabricate metal products, and using hand tools and power tools effectively in the welding process. Additional duties may include performing stick welding when required and working with sheet metal to create precise welds. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Requirements for the role include proficiency in MIG welding techniques, ability to fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components accurately, and competence in using hand tools and power tools. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations are also essential, as is mechanical knowledge for understanding machinery and equipment. The working hours for this position are 12 hours per day.
