Opus Recruitment Solutions is working with a leading tech consultancy and Google Cloud Premier Partner to find six DevOps Engineers for a large-scale government migration project to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).


This project involves migrating a large datacentre and applications to GCP for a government department. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud computing, particularly GCP, and Terraform. A 2:1 degree or higher from a Russell Group university is also required, as is either SC Clearance or eligibility for it.


The role offers a salary of up to £60,000, along with support and funding for GCP certifications, flexible benefits, and a generous 25 days of annual leave. The company is based in London and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week spent in the office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate large-scale government datacentre and applications to GCP
  • Work with a team of experienced DevOps Engineers on a cutting-edge cloud migration project
  • Collaborate with the client's team to ensure a successful migration
  • Develop and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements


Requirements:

  • Experience with cloud computing, particularly GCP
  • Experience with Terraform
