Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated Relief Pharmacist to join a rapidly growing pharmacy group committed to providing exceptional NHS and private services to communities across Scotland.
Role Summary
This position involves providing essential support and coverage for various branches in the Highlands area. Each day presents a unique opportunity to engage with different locations, ensuring a dynamic work environment.
Working Schedule
This is a full-time, permanent role, operating on a rota basis:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday
- Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: Up to £56,000, with an annual bonus of up to £6,000 based on experience and Independent Prescribing qualification.
- Travel Reimbursement: Mileage covered due to the travel requirements of the role.
- Professional Development: Opportunity to pursue the independent prescribing qualification with full financial support.
- Visa Sponsorship: Open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We welcome applicants with varying levels of experience. The ideal candidate will possess:
- GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
- Independent Prescriber qualification or a strong desire to obtain it
- MUR accreditation and ProScript proficiency are advantageous
Key Responsibilities
The Relief Pharmacist will:
- Maintain high standards and consistently meet performance targets.
- Efficiently manage the prescription fulfillment process.
- Oversee essential services, including pharmacy first and NHS services.
- Provide daily support to pharmacy teams.
- Foster strong relationships with patients, customers, and care homes.
- Contribute to pharmacy growth and profitability while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
