Job Title: IT Service Desk Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Manager to join our team at Schroders Recruitment. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our service desk, ensuring that all IT incidents and requests are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the service desk team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all IT incidents and requests are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the service desk operates in accordance with ITIL best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that IT services are aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on service desk performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to the service desk team to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT service management, with a focus on service desk operations.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and service management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
