Job Title: Export Freight Forwarder

Location: Leeds

Salary: Negotiable, up to £35,000

Hours: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Export Freight Forwarder to join our European Road Freight department in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of all European Road Freight Operations, including arranging shipments from origin to final delivery, creating bookings, and liaising with merchant haulage.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete the full life cycle of all European Road Freight Operations
  2. Oversee the EU Road Freight department
  3. Lead a team of dedicated operators
  4. Arrange shipments from Origin through to final delivery
  5. Create bookings
  6. Liaise with merchant haulage, provide freight rates and quotations
  7. Complete Customs clearances via CDS
  8. Provide outstanding levels of customer service
