About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our management team. As Assistant Manager, you will be at the heart of our team, helping to ensure the smooth running of our busy pub. Your responsibilities will include welcoming and looking after customers, helping to train and lead our bar/waiting team, managing busy services, and running special events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring excellent customer service and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Train and develop the bar/waiting team, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential.
  • Assist in the management of busy services, including peak periods and special events.
  • Contribute to the development of new menus, drinks, and events, working closely with the management team to ensure they meet the needs of our customers.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that the pub operates within budget.
