Position: Internal Communications Partner

Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Internal Communications & Culture Manager.

Role Summary:
The Internal Communications Partner will be tasked with crafting strategic and innovative internal communication initiatives aimed at engaging and motivating employees with our organizational vision, culture, and core values throughout the UK.

Key Highlights of the Role:

  • You will engage with employees from diverse departments, including Broadcasting & Content and our Goodness team.

Success Metrics:
In the initial months, you will have:

  • Gained a comprehensive understanding of our internal branding and communication style to effectively convey our messages across all internal platforms.
  • Established strong relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders to facilitate the planning and execution of communication campaigns and initiatives.
  • Acquired a solid grasp of our content strategy and the tools we utilize for content management, such as Asana and our internal communication platform.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Curate, edit, and disseminate news across various internal channels, including our communication platform, internal displays, and email newsletters.
  • Oversee and manage our internal communication platform, ensuring content is monitored and approved on a daily basis.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of communication strategies that enhance and amplify messaging for key cultural initiatives, such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and other strategic objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the broader Talent Development & Culture team, providing insights and recommendations based on data to refine messaging and delivery.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team to develop clear and engaging communications that promote existing programs aimed at enhancing employee engagement, such as benefits, rewards, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:
We expect you to design and execute innovative communication initiatives that demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple internal communication campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to translate insights into actionable communication activities while maintaining a hands-on approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and a passion for managing complex projects effectively.
  • Enthusiasm for emerging technologies and trends, with a keen interest in exploring and testing new communication tools and channels.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex business information into engaging content that resonates with our workforce.
