Warehouse Operative Job Description

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts and reconciliations, to ensure accurate documentation and records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure flawless execution of warehouse operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience is accepted.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
