Position Summary:
Procurement Lead
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and integrating new suppliers based on criteria such as cost efficiency, quality assurance, risk management, and delivery performance.
- Procurement Responsibilities: Spearhead contract negotiations and establish payment terms, formulate agreements, and ensure that supplier contracts adhere to compliance standards. Manage the supplier portfolio, assess supplier performance, and implement strategies for risk management.
- Operational Oversight: Supervise inventory control, stock optimization, warehousing, logistics, and order fulfillment processes.
Demand Management & Forecasting:
Create and oversee scheduling strategies to manage future demand, perform forecasting, and optimize inventory levels to reduce stockouts, obsolescence, and surplus inventory.
- Leadership & Management:
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
Work collaboratively with various departments to enhance internal procurement processes, analyze global purchasing trends and commodity markets, maintain supplier master data, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights while providing leadership support.
Candidates should possess proven experience in Procurement, Buying, Supply Chain Management, or as a Senior Buyer ready to advance their career.- A CIPS qualification and/or substantial experience in Supply Chain management would be highly beneficial.
