The Role

As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside consultants to carry out pre and post-operative consultations, assessing patient suitability for treatment. You will also conduct examinations associated with refractive, cataract, glaucoma, and retinal surgeries, run acute and follow-up clinics post-surgery, and provide health advice and support to patients.

Requirements
  • Current GOC Registration: As a fully qualified optometrist
  • IP Qualification: With an interest in YAG
  • Extensive Experience: Working as an optometrist in a refractive, high street, or hospital environment
  • Experience with Patient Administration Systems: And electronic medical record systems
  • Conversion Targets and KPIs: Experience of working to conversion targets and other KPIs within Vision Correction
