Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic finance team at Abbots Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our day-to-day financial functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Preparation: Prepare and check customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Customer Communication: Respond to invoice queries in a professional and efficient manner, building strong relationships with clients.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed customer records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Administration: Collect monthly direct debits, process payments, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Journal Entry: Prepare and enter journals into our accounting system, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Credit Control: Manage credit control processes, ensuring timely payment from customers.
  • Administrative Support: Provide basic administrative support, including correspondence, filing, and printing.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in an accounting team in an office environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to interact with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring financial data is accurate and reliable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, although training will be provided.
