Job Title: Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Wyke. As a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will have the opportunity to deliver an evidence-based SLT service to meet the needs of our complex client group within an in-patient setting.

About the Role:
  • Deliver an evidence-based SLT service to meet the needs of our complex client group
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service
  • Supervise an SLT (Band 5 equivalent) providing input to Adarna Ward
  • Accountable to the Director of Speech and Language Therapy (Healthcare) and the onsite service manager

Requirements:
  • A registered Speech and Language Therapist with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council)
  • Experienced in the field of adult mental health and/or ASD
  • Expertise in delivering an evidence-based SLT service
