As a key member of the Synchro team, the Area Commercial Manager will play a critical role in supporting the commercial and contractual management of a portfolio of telecoms projects. This will include new builds, city enhancements, government contracts, and field service frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Resource Management: Manage the commercial resources of assigned projects, ensuring planned expenditure is aligned with contract terms and statutory requirements.
- Project Variations: Support the authorization and submission of project variations, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
- Risk Mitigation: Assess, review, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks, providing expert advice to stakeholders.
- Commercial and Contractual Expertise: Provide commercial and contractual expertise, including valuation certification, correspondence, claims, budget monitoring, and performance data.
- Cost and Value Data: Provide accurate cost and value data at both project and regional levels, supporting informed business decisions.
- Commercial Management: Leverage senior commercial management experience and contractor procurement expertise, with a working knowledge of NEC3 ECC forms.
- Project Oversight: Oversee large capital expenditure projects, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data for financial reporting, providing actionable insights and strategic focus to drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Commercial Management: Solid experience in senior commercial management and contractor procurement.
- Project Oversight: Experience overseeing large capital expenditure projects.
- Data Analysis: Ability to use data for financial reporting with actionable insights and strategic focus.
Location: Remote, with occasional UK travel. Salary: £63,000 - £68,000 + Car Allowance.
