Site Operations and Maintenance Coordinator

GreenPower Developments Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Site Operations and Maintenance Coordinator to join their Asset Management Team. This role represents an excellent opportunity for a Wind Turbine Technician with an electrical bias to work in a slightly different role, assuming responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of 6 sites in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage site work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
  • Conduct regular high-level H&S audits of 3rd party contractors to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Perform general site inspections and maintain records of condition, managing specialist contractors as needed for more detailed inspections.
  • Monitor production and operations regularly through SCADA systems to identify and address any faults.
  • Manage regular maintenance works to site equipment and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Oversee ongoing habitat management or environmental mitigation works to minimize impact on the environment.
  • Ensure building/site security and safety systems are maintained in good working order.
  • Maintain project inspection records and maintenance logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage and undertake minor maintenance works, including cleaning hydro intakes, replacing building water supply filters, and lighting, as well as weed management.
  • Support relationships with landowners, local communities, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing operations and maintenance of renewable energy sites, including wind turbines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to produce accurate, succinct, and informative inspection reports.
  • Proficient use of Windows-based IT systems and basic office software, including emails, word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to create and maintain high-quality, detailed records of work undertaken and planned.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • First aid qualification and other H&S-related certifications, such as manual handling.
  • High ethical and quality standards.
  • Flexible approach to work, with drive and determination to see work completed on time.
Benefits:
  • Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Annual leave: 25 days personal leave, plus 12 statutory holidays/office closure days per annum.

Reporting to the Asset Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Operations and Asset Management team to ensure the smooth operation of the sites.
