Our payroll bureau is designed to accommodate the unique needs of each school, ensuring peace of mind that staff will be paid accurately and on time, every time.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Implementation Officer to join our team. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for liaising with customers to ensure the necessary information and data is obtained, configuring and testing payroll accounts in line with customer requirements, and conducting payroll parallel runs and liaising with customers accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with customers to ensure the necessary information and data is obtained
  • Configure and test payroll accounts in line with customer requirements
  • Conduct payroll parallel runs and liaise with customers accordingly
  • Build bespoke report packs for customers including payroll journals
  • Conduct system audits as required and support payroll compliance
  • Provide support for payroll system revisions
  • Adhere to Information Security policies and protocols including GDPR
  • General data/administrative support as required
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of company products

Requirements

  • Proven payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience processing payroll parallel runs
  • Up to date payroll and pension knowledge
  • Experience and knowledge of computerised payroll systems
  • Solid understanding of payroll-related compliance
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer payroll builds
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent data management and data analysis skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to travel within the UK occasionally
