Experienced Traffic and Transportation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Traffic and Transportation Engineer to join our team at Telent. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance of traffic signals and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out maintenance of traffic signals and associated equipment in accordance with site specifications.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Apply technical expertise to complete assigned work within own area of expertise.
- Work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Carry out planned periodic inspections and attend reactive faults as required by the contract.
- Interrogate traffic controllers and carry out fault analysis under supervision of Senior Traffic Engineers.
- Complete maintenance in line with agreed schedules and SLA's.
- Be on call (1 in every 4) to support multiple contracts.
- Basic electrical knowledge or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
- Fully accredited sector 8.
- Full Driving Licence.
