About the Role
The BBC is seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Content Promotions team, you will be responsible for leading the marketing and promotion of our digital apps and web games across various platforms.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with a team of Researchers and Assistant Content Producers to manage the promotion of our digital apps and web games.
- Develop and implement creative promotional strategies to engage new and existing audiences.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure editorial input and updates are communicated and carried out on time and to a high standard.
- Line manage the work and development of Assistant Content Producers and Researchers.
- Deliver and use data analytics reports to drive performance and communicate findings to the wider department.
- Take initiative and assume responsibility for day-to-day decision-making as well as taking a strategic view for long term projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments in digital promotion in relation to kids' apps.
- Ensure compliance with BBC standards and guidelines.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and has a strong background in promoting digital content. You will have excellent project management skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and great copywriting skills. You will be self-motivated, highly collaborative, and a great forward planner who can manage a varied workload to meet tight deadlines.
