Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx. As a Graduate Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to children with complex SEN/SEMH needs, working closely with the SENCO and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with complex SEN/SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students
  • Report feedback and information to class teachers
  • Support the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate with strong academics, e.g. 1st Class degree/2:1
  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH needs is required for this role
  • Sufficient knowledge about SEN including ASD, ADHD, SpLD
  • A 'can-do' attitude and a passion for working with children with complex needs
