SALARY RANGE:
£45,000 - £55,000

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will deliver comprehensive building surveying services to a diverse clientele across various sectors.
Your role will also involve providing guidance and support to junior members of the surveying team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing professional building surveying tasks such as property inspections, acquisition assessments, dilapidation reports, contract management, maintenance and renovation projects, condition schedules, and party wall agreements.
- Managing a variety of projects valued up to £1 million across different property types, including commercial, residential, and agricultural.
- Cultivating relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities both locally and nationally.
- Generating new business leads.
- Staying informed about relevant legislation and sharing knowledge with colleagues as necessary.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
To excel as our new Senior Building Surveyor, it is beneficial to have experience across a range of projects that encompass various facets of building surveying, including condition assessments, dilapidations, project oversight, and building pathology.
We seek a proactive individual with a strong focus on business development and the ability to create new commercial opportunities.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- RICS membership and qualification.
- Proven experience in providing advice on a variety of building-related issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
- A valid UK driving license.
