Two Economic Geography Lectureships in CURDS Newcastle
At the University of Groningen, we are seeking two Economic Geography Lectureships to advance critical perspectives on urban and regional development.

The successful candidates will contribute to our research and teaching in the field of economic geography, with a focus on themes such as cities and city-regions, spatial inequalities and justice, demographic change and migration, finance and debt, energy and infrastructure, and institutions, governance and policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses in economic geography
  • Conduct research in economic geography, with a focus on urban and regional development
  • Contribute to the development of the CURDS research group
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the University of Groningen

Requirements:
  • PhD in Economic Geography or a related field
  • Excellent research and teaching skills
  • Experience in urban and regional development
  • Strong publication record
