About the Role:

  • Work on Optical Networks and associated hardware, ensuring proper functionality and performance through testing and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize testing equipment, including optical power meters, light sources, BERT's, cellular scanners, and multi-meters, to execute testing and maintenance activities.
  • Perform Cellular RTE (Radio Transmission Engineering), Routing & Switching protocols, and manage network synchronisation tasks.
  • Collaborate with remote network management platforms to ensure seamless network operations.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced Telecoms Engineer with a strong understanding of cellular networks and Optical Networks with associated hardware.
  • Familiarity with Cellular RTE, Routing & Switching protocols, and network synchronization.
  • Proficient in fault finding techniques and managing tickets, with excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Cisco experience required.
