At SPTS Technologies Limited, a leader in the semiconductor manufacturing sector, we are committed to innovating and producing advanced machinery for the global market. The Procurement department at SPTS plays a vital role in the enhancement of our state-of-the-art wafer handling and processing systems. We are a proactive team within the Operations division seeking to expand our expertise and capabilities. We are currently in search of a Procurement Specialist to join our team and contribute to our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulating and executing strategies to streamline the supply chain for ongoing cost efficiency
  • Building a flexible and effective supply chain that aligns with SPTS's growth initiatives
  • Identifying potential synergies within the supply chain
  • Managing the complete procurement process from demand identification to payment
  • Facilitating the seamless transition of suppliers, products, and agreements to the operational purchasing team
  • Monitoring and enhancing performance against key performance indicators with accuracy and diligence
  • Conducting supplier evaluations to assess capabilities, capacities, and process controls

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient negotiator with experience in category management
  • Demonstrates knowledge in strategic supply chain management
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of supply processes and cost-saving methodologies
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems; experience with SAP and Enovia is a plus
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and eager to enhance the efficiency of the Procurement Team
  • Exhibits strong collaborative skills and effective communication
  • Motivated, adaptable to various challenges, and committed to achieving project excellence

Qualifications:

  • CIPS or MCIPS certification or equivalent degree (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
