Mental Health Services Manager

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing and supervising the provision of mental health and evaluation services to residents at our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial and exit screenings and evaluations to assess the mental health needs of residents
- Coordinate and evaluate assessment services to ensure the highest level of care
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support
- Provide clinical supervision and training to subordinate staff
- Ability to assess levels of clinical competencies and develop such competencies in subordinate clinical staff
- Considerable knowledge of adolescent development and psychopathology
- Knowledge of psychodiagnostic assessment, psychopathology, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy
- Required skills include providing clinical supervision, administering and interpreting objective and projective tests, interviewing and psychotherapy techniques, and report writing
- Ability to function effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Licensure as a clinical psychologist
- Considerable experience in conducting psychological evaluations and providing psychological services in an institutional setting
- Experience providing clinical and administrative supervision
- Additional certification by the Department of Health Professions as a sex offender treatment provider (CSOTP)
