Senior Architect Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a leading architectural practice, we specialize in heritage and conservation projects, and we are looking for an individual with a passion for delivering innovative and high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on heritage projects, utilizing your technical skills and design flair to deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage project delivery and ensure timely completion, while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Extensive post-qualification experience, with several years as a Project Architect.
  • ARB registration and Part Three RIBA qualification.
  • Prior knowledge of project delivery and management.
  • Strong design and technical skills, with experience in conservation and heritage projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of UK Building and Planning regulations.
  • Demonstratable experience across all RIBA stages, particularly on stages 4&5.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Leadership experience is essential.
  • Ideal experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and NBS.
  • AABC accreditation or on track for it.
  • Comprehensive commercial awareness and ability to take financial control of the project.
