As a pivotal player in our sustainability initiatives, you will be responsible for implementing our global sustainability strategy at a regional level, specifically focusing on the UK and Ireland markets. Your role will involve integrating sustainability into Brand Marketing and Retailer strategies to drive commercial success. Additionally, you will enhance local awareness and engagement on sustainability and nutrition, equipping our marketing and sales teams for the evolving market landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with the Cluster Marketing Director and local communication teams to develop a strategic plan that positions sustainability as a key driver for commercial growth. Integrating sustainability messaging into Cluster communication channels. Ensuring accurate local sustainability reporting in collaboration with Group Corporate Affairs and Sustainability teams, contributing local insights for both internal and external reporting. Prioritizing projects and initiatives that align with global sustainability commitments, including animal welfare and sustainable sourcing. Enhancing sustainability knowledge and capabilities within the workforce, identifying critical focus areas for the Cluster. Partnering with Shopper Marketing teams to create impactful activation plans that convey essential sustainability messages at the point of sale. Engaging with industry groups and stakeholders to bolster our reputation in sustainability.Qualifications

You possess a strong passion for sustainability and nutrition, with a proven track record in a global, matrixed organization. You excel in collaboration, communication, and stakeholder influence. We value individuals who are results-oriented, eager to learn, and bring a positive, team-oriented approach to their work.
Demonstrated experience in advancing sustainability initiatives within branded organizations, preferably in the FMCG sector. Proven ability to deliver results across the complete commercial spectrum within a local context, aligned with a broader global strategy. Experience representing a large organization in sustainability-focused trade or external forums. Strong project management skills, capable of providing structure and clarity to initiatives. Commercial insight, with the ability to articulate the benefits of sustainability in relation to costs. What We Offer You
