About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic 3D Technology Educator to join our team at Ignite Hubs. As a Digital Makerspace Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching children and young people the art of 3D printing and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging 3D printing lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Contribute to the development of our curriculum, including sourcing materials and equipment.
  • Prepare the classroom and equipment before each class and manage the pack-up and debriefing session afterwards.
  • Possibility to work additional hours by supporting other classes and developing content for our Online Learning Platform.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in 3D printing technology.
  • Interest in other technologies, such as robotics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit, animation, VR/AR, video production, sound design, game development, and design.
  • Experience working with children and/or young people in a formal or informal community setting.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Capable of engaging and inspiring students of all ages.
