Manufacturing Process Specialist

Azenta Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team at our Manufacturing site in Wotton, Surrey. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our machines and the production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Support the senior Process Technician in daily operations and ensure that all machines are running efficiently.
- Perform mould tool changes as scheduled or required, and adapt moulding conditions to produce quality-approved components.
- Assist mould shop Supervisors in obtaining First Off approval at the start of each production batch.
- Complete production paperwork as required and liaise with the Tool Room and QC departments as needed.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment and perform other tasks as required.
- Extensive experience of Injection moulding processes and associated parameters.
- Experience of mould mounting using overhead gantry and hoist.
- Good understanding of mould tool construction and architecture.
- Computer competency and literacy, including email, Word, Excel, and document creation.
- Experience of ISO 14644 clean room operations and ISO 9001 and 13485 operations.
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted and possessing initiative, self-motivation, and effective communication skills.
