Job Title: Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's credit control function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and resolving any credit control queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate and process all monies received
  • Submit monthly direct debit files for approval
  • Manage debtors' day KPIs to ensure timely payment
  • Produce daily reports on credit control activities
  • Process overdue debt for legal action
  • Resolve credit control queries and resolve customer issues
  • Review and update credit limits for customers
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a finance department, preferably in credit control
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • GCSE pass in Maths and English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Awareness of the Data Protection Act and ability to apply it within the organisation
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Good organisational skills for planning and prioritising work
