The Role

Lanes Group plc is seeking a skilled HGV Jet Vac Operative to join our Operational Teams in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating high specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units to clear blockages and maintain drainage networks.

About the Job

You will work as part of a two-person team, attending to various work sectors, including industrial, rail, utility, commercial, and residential. Your duties will include:

  • Operating high pressure jetting equipment and vacuumation units
  • Clearing blockages and maintaining drainage networks
  • Attending to emergency reactive works

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points
  • A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and Digicard
  • Excellent problem-solving, listening, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong teamworking and customer-focused abilities
  • Physical fitness and energy
  • A positive 'Can Do' attitude
