Senior Accountant/Client Manager Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is supporting a reputable chartered accountancy practice in search of a recently qualified Senior Accountant/Client Manager to join their team. Our client is a well-established, multi-partner practice with a diverse client portfolio, offering a fantastic career opportunity for an ambitious and career-driven Senior Accountant.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of general practice experience at a medium-large independent practice, Top 10, or Big 4 firm. They will be competent in all aspects of accounts and taxation work, with excellent IT skills and knowledge of accounting and tax standards. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.

The role will involve managing a client portfolio across accounts and tax, with opportunities to get involved in technical advisory services such as corporate finance and valuations. The Senior Accountant/Client Manager will report directly to the partners and have a fantastic opportunity to progress within the business to Director and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts preparation and review for a wide range of companies
  • Preparation and review of corporate tax and personal tax returns
  • Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team
  • Advising clients on tax and advisory matters, and being their first point of contact
  • Supporting clients with ad-hoc project work such as corporate finance and M&A
Requirements:
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 3+ years general practice experience
  • Competent in all aspects of accounts and taxation work
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of accounting and tax standards
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
