Job Title: Principal Technology Development Engineer

Location: Flexible working arrangements available, including hybrid and remote options.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Technology Development Engineer to join our Technology Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing R&D projects, providing technical advice, and coordinating financial and progress reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage R&D projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide technical advice to project teams, including proposal development and project mobilization.
  • Coordinate monthly financial and progress reviews, reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain a watch on emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Support updates to our Technology Strategy, highlighting key technologies and capabilities.
  • Encourage and support the submission of ideas for new R&D projects.

Requirements:

  • STEM related degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering projects, including the introduction of new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Chartership or evidence of working towards.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
