Job Title: Consultant Radiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, interpreting images, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Provide expert advice on imaging techniques and protocols
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care
  • Contribute to the development of imaging protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • FRCR or equivalent
  • Experience of working at or comparable to, the level of a Consultant Clinical Radiologist in the NHS
  • Knowledge of the role of clinical governance in current clinical practice
  • Ability to take on full & independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
