Job Title: Building Management System Engineer

Coders Connect is partnering with a leading manufacturer and installer of Building Energy Management Systems (BMS) based in the London area. With over 32 years of experience, this company has established a reputation for delivering high-quality, reliable solutions for iconic locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission BMS systems, ensuring proper installation, calibration, and functionality according to design specifications and operational requirements.
  • Develop and adjust control algorithms and parameters within the BMS to meet energy optimisation goals, including programming controllers, sensors, and actuators.
  • Carry out detailed testing, including factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and functional performance tests to verify the system's compliance with project requirements.
  • Liaise with clients to explain system functionality, provide technical support, and deliver system training where necessary.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients post-handover, including system performance reviews and maintenance recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BMS commissioning and energy management.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies, with a focus on energy management and optimisation.
  • Experience with energy monitoring, data analysis, and reporting for optimising building performance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • CSCS card required, other relevant industry certifications (e.g. PASMA, IPAF) desirable.
