Bridge Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Ferrovial. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair highway structures, including concrete, structural steel, and expansion joints.
- Set up and remove traffic control devices to ensure safe Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T.) control.
- Work at heights in bucket trucks, snooper trucks, scaffolding, ladders, and aerial platforms lifts.
- Repair and maintain bridge and culvert slopes, berms, drains, and other infrastructure components.
- Control vegetation growth and appearance using lawn mowing equipment, trimmers, and chemical sprayers.
- Maintain bridge fender systems, including navigational signs, lighting, and structural components.
- Transport crew and equipment to work sites using large trucks and specialized vehicles.
- Participate in emergency response rotations as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of work experience in construction, maintenance, and repair preferred.
- CDL, DOT certifications, electrical, and welding certifications highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The employee will be required to work at heights, in tight spaces, and in and around water.
