Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is collaborating with a prominent logistics provider seeking a dedicated Logistics Officer to enhance their operations.

This position will manage all aspects of import and export activities while fostering client relationships, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address customer inquiries and manage interactions with professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships to facilitate business expansion.
  • Track and assess customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Proactively promote services during client interactions.
  • Exemplify company values and mentor team members.
  • Oversee and coordinate daily operational functions.
  • Gather feedback and drive process enhancements.
  • Manage import/export documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with global partners to address shipping and documentation challenges.
  • Negotiate pricing with freight carriers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare competitive bids and responses to tenders.
  • Provide precise and timely quotations for import and export services.
  • Handle and reconcile financial transactions while maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct monthly analyses and implement strategies based on insights.
  • Efficiently process and approve customer billing.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to logistics activities.
  • Assist with various administrative and data management responsibilities.
  • Ensure seamless logistics operations, both administratively and operationally.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an operational capacity within the Freight Forwarding sector.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with EU Customs best practices for import and export is a significant advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
