Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to spearhead the growth of our strategic client portfolios through effective relationship management and engagement initiatives, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and expand an existing portfolio of key shippers while achieving volume targets through superior service.
- Maintain strong engagement levels with strategic clients and proactively address their challenges.
- Foster relationships with essential stakeholders within the portfolio.
- Serve as the customer advocate to influence product development and enhancements.
- Identify and lead complex projects aimed at resolving customer issues and enhancing their experience.
- Communicate ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences, including crafting narratives and strategic documentation.
- Mentor and guide team members to ensure collective success.
A Day in the Role
In this position, you will be closely involved in all aspects of our partner relationships, from contract negotiations to performance tracking. Your role will require consistent communication with partners to ensure they have the necessary resources for timely deliveries.
About the Team
The Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) team is integral to our operational success. By leveraging air, sea, and road transport, along with state-of-the-art sortation centers, we strive for maximum efficiency in our logistics operations. Our team utilizes data-driven insights to inform decisions, making Amazon more innovative and effective.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in utilizing data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience in business development, partner relations, sales, or alliance management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end delivery processes and communicate results to senior leadership.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Experience in establishing and managing a sales pipeline.
- Familiarity with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Background in online advertising or high-tech products/services.
