About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitaha Canterbury. As a key member of our Radiology Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Radionuclide Imaging, Radio-pharmacy, and Radionuclide Therapy procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Administer Radionuclides and manage Radiation Safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Nuclear Medicine technology and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the NZ MRTB (Nuclear Medicine Technologists scope of practice) with a current practicing certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
