Ernest Gordon Recruitment is a leading provider of bespoke food processing equipment, operating for 30+ years with over 80 members of staff. We specialise in manufacturing and the design of bespoke production machinery and are looking to develop our friendly team to help our continued growth.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with an Electrical/Mechanical background to join our team as a Food Manufacturing Equipment Specialist. As an Electrical Control Systems Developer, you will work with our design team to develop electrical control systems, maintain, debug, and troubleshoot these systems, and install, test, and monitor machinery and panel wiring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical control systems for food processing equipment
  • Maintain, debug, and troubleshoot electrical control systems
  • Install, test, and monitor machinery and panel wiring
  • Work collaboratively with the design team to develop and implement new equipment designs
  • Contribute to the development of our team and help drive our continued growth

Requirements

  • Manufacturing Engineer with an Electrical/Mechanical background
  • Experience in food manufacturing equipment design and development
  • Strong understanding of electrical control systems and panel wiring
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
