Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across the EMEA region, understanding their business needs and providing expert technical advice.
  • Identify and understand customer requirements to offer suitable technical solutions, collaborating with the engineering and design teams to customise machinery for specific client applications.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations of machinery, showcasing the benefits and features of our products.
  • Oversee the full sales process, from initial consultation to final installation and commissioning, ensuring seamless integration and high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide hands-on support for equipment installation, ensuring systems are fitted and functioning to specification.
  • Act as the technical liaison between the customer and internal teams to resolve any issues, providing expert technical guidance and support.
  • Regularly travel within the EMEA region to visit clients and project sites, building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Sales Engineer role, preferably in the special purpose machinery, automation, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong technical background, with hands-on experience with machinery installation, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into customer-friendly language.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple projects, with a willingness to travel regularly within the EMEA region.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills (e.g., German, French, Spanish) a plus.
