Job Description

Axon Moore Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Finance team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data for the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Process invoices and credit notes from suppliers, matching them to purchase orders as necessary.
  • Financial Reconciliations: Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all day-to-day and month-end purchase ledger transactions are accurately accounted for.
  • Payables Ledger Management: Regularly review the payables ledger to investigate outstanding items and resolve supplier queries as needed.
  • Rental Income Management: Post rental income and reconcile it with the company's financial records.
  • Company Credit Card Oversight: Monitor and manage company credit card transactions.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide ad hoc support to the Finance Manager as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong Academic Record: Possess a strong academic record and relevant qualifications.
  • Accounts Payable Experience: Have significant experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a high-volume, multi-company environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with various stakeholders.
