Project Accountant Role

SearchCo Ltd is a leading Main Contractor with a strong presence in the UK construction industry. We have established a reputation for delivering high-quality projects while maintaining a professional and efficient approach.

As a Project Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial delivery of projects, working closely with a Project Manager and reporting to the Regional Director. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Issuing sub-contract tender packages and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Reviewing contract documents and managing relationships with established supply chain sub-contractors.
  • Assessing contract risk and attending internal and external commercial review meetings.
  • Managing subcontract accounts from procurement to final account and preparing client valuations.
  • Assisting with the evaluation and submission of claims for variation works.

The ideal candidate will have a construction-related qualification and experience delivering new build commercial, industrial, retail, and residential projects. You will be ambitious, determined to succeed, and eager to progress within the company.
