Parker Shaw is seeking a qualified Oracle APEX Middleware Engineer with security clearance to assist in the enhancement of our Oracle APEX instances hosted in Azure. This role is essential for ensuring ongoing maintenance and support for our enterprise application platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support during business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Deliver support across various levels, from L1 to L3.
  • Manage middleware operations for Oracle Fusion, including WebLogic and web server environments.
  • Offer comprehensive support for Oracle APEX and Fusion applications.
  • Assist with frequently asked questions and maintain an updated knowledge base for new incidents.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting to identify integration issues and assess hardware and software compatibility.
  • Perform root cause analysis to determine the underlying issues affecting application performance.
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks, including the implementation of updates for preventive and corrective measures.
  • Monitor application key performance indicators (KPIs) to detect any events that could disrupt business operations.
  • Provide break-fix support to resolve critical incidents and minimize downtime.
  • Replicate incidents in non-production environments for testing and analysis.
  • Analyze application code and configurations to pinpoint errors leading to incidents.
  • Identify, implement, and test necessary fixes for identified errors.
  • Follow established protocols for implementing emergency fixes in production environments.
