Senior Building Surveyor

Overview of the Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting department heads in achieving organizational goals
  • Building and nurturing client relationships
  • Providing exceptional services and ensuring that building surveying outputs align with client expectations
  • Overseeing building surveying projects, which include assessments, dilapidation guidance, party wall consultations, and construction management
  • Conducting quality assessments of construction initiatives
  • Coordinating service delivery in collaboration with the Director
  • Engaging with clients and project stakeholders
  • Creating and delivering presentations to clients
  • Guiding and developing team members
  • Drafting proposals for services
  • Managing service delivery to ensure profitability
  • Recognizing and pursuing new business opportunities

Candidate Profile

Ideal Qualifications and Skills:

Experience and Expertise:

  • Proven building surveying experience following MRICS accreditation
  • In-depth understanding of construction techniques and materials
  • Proficient in managing construction contracts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation capabilities
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Proficient in ICT applications

Required Qualifications:

  • MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
